- believe的基本意思是“相信”,指相信事物的真實性或相信某人說的話,引申可作“信賴”或“信仰”解。
- 在口語裡, believe還可作“想”“認爲”解,表示和緩的、不太肯定的口氣,相儅於suppose,有時則僅僅表示客氣,不願說得太絕對。
