- nature作“本性,性情,性質”解時,可以用來表示物的“本質,特征,性質”,用作不可數名詞,也可用來指人或動物的“天性脾氣,性格”等,可用作可數名詞,也可用作不可數名詞。
- nature作“類型,種類”解時,用於單數形式,可與不定冠詞連用。
- in nature用於疑問句、否定句或包含最高級的句子中,以加強語氣,表示“在世界上,究竟,事實上”。
