    v. (動詞)

  • write的基本意思是“寫”,指用筆大方、莊重地記錄一些東西。引申可表示“寫信”,是日常用語。
  • write既可用作及物動詞,也可用作不及物動詞。用作及物動詞時,可接名詞、代詞、動詞不定式、動名詞、that/wh-從句作賓語,也可接雙賓語,其間接賓語可以轉化爲介詞to的賓語,其直接賓語可以由名詞充儅,也可由that從句充儅。write還可接由名詞、動詞不定式充儅補足語的複郃賓語。

  • write和write about都是“寫…”的意思,但write的賓語常用book, letter, report, composition等詞,即“形式”; 而write about的賓語則往往指寫作的內容或題材,意思是 “寫關於…的事”。

  • 兩者均可指“給…寫信”, write sb 主要用在美式英語中,而write to sb 主要用在英式英語中。
