- decide的基本意思是“決定”,指一人或多人對某一事實、行動、方針引起懷疑、動搖、爭議,經過比較、思考、商議或研究後拿定主意,作出選擇或判斷,決定是與非、取與捨,含有不再疑惑、躊躇或爭執的意味。引申可表示“肯定”“斷定”。
- decide用作不及物動詞時,通常跟介詞about或on〔upon〕。跟on〔upon〕連用時表示“就重大事情作出決定”或在多種情況〔事物〕中“作出選擇”; 與about連用時表示“就一般事情作出決定”。
